Applefest returns November 2026
Every harvest season, our favorite time of the year, we bring the orchard to the city for our 2-weekend long Applefest Fall Festival. Both weekends are filled with yummy eats, apple treats, live music, cozy new merch, autumnal activities, hot mulled cider, new holiday bevvie releases, and our annual Community Crush — when you can roll up your sleeves, and help us sort, wash, and press apples on our old-fashioned rack-and-cloth press that Benny made himself!
Applefest Community Crush 2026
The free, public Community Crush apple pressing is held 12-5pm each day, with 30 minute time slots for volunteers. We heavily encourage you to sign up online to guarantee your spot. Walk ups are first come, first served. Once the cider is ready after a few months, we'll invite you back to get a "Thank You" pint on the house of the cider YOU helped make!Wanna be the first in line when volunteer slots open for 2026? Pippin Pommeau is a 1-year-old apple brandy blended with apple juice, then barrel-aged for another 1-2 years. The result is a glorious, boozy apple elixir at 17% ABV. Inspired by the traditional French style hailing from Normandy, France, our California take is made with 100% California Newtown Pippin apples and distilled locally at craft distillery Loft & Bear. Batch 3 is as Golden State as it gets. Serve slightly chilled in a cute glass for sipping before or after dinner…or really whenever you desire.
